What is google reader and how do I use it?

I'm so glad you asked.  You see, blogs are interesting things.  You can go to them hourly to check to see if anything new updated or if they have an RSS feed, you can just add it to google reader!  This RSS reader is free to use (you just need an e-mail address and if you already have one through gmail, it's even easier!) and it collects all of your favorite blogs and only tells you what updates!  That way you can check google reader hourly instead of every site you want to visit, saving you a ton of time.  So how do you subscribe to a blog in google reader?  Easy!  If you're using Firefox, most pages have an rss button in the address bar and you just click on that.  It will redirect you to google reader and you can click subscribe.  You can also search for blogs once you're in the reader.  So, why did I tell you this?  SUBSCRIBE TO MY BLOG IN GOOGLE READER BIZNATCHES!  There's even a handy button at the top right of this page that says subscribe.  DO IT!  DO IT NOW!

Well, it's been a fun and adventurous ride, but we're shutting down. There hasn't been enough interest in the site and not enough funding to keep this project going while I'm working full time and still in school and planning a wedding.

Really? That's the best April Fool's prank I could come up with? Yeah, it was. Site's still going great, I really appreciate everyone who's checked out the site so far and the real joke is going to be if I get this podcast done before the end of the year.

I thought of a much funnier prank after I posted this. I could have said that the podcast was finished and released and that there will be a webcomic next week...

FULL STEAM AHEAD!

Here you are!  Think of this site as a carnival setting up in your town, but not all the rides are up and running yet, just have some cotton candy while you wait for the Zipper to open.  I really wasn't hoping to go public with this site for a month or two until more content built up (and until that stupid podcast gets recorded, I'm working on it!) but we'll have to open the doors early thanks to The Drabblecast!  If I wasn't already on the toilet when I read a comment saying someone found this site from the Drabblecast, I would have shat myself.  That being said, here you are!  We'll have another roundup on the pile this Tuesday (XL edition) just so you can get a flavor for what we're trying to do here.  I'll also be devoting more time to this site knowing that people are actually checking it out.  So, I'm going to finish scripting for the podcast this weekend and have it recorded before the end of the week, and maybe a webcomic by April 9th.  Please don't judge too much of what you see here until you see and hear what I have to offer.  Thanks again, Norm!
